Ana Paula de Freitas Rodrigues has more than 20 years of experience in the law, and has worked for a number of well-known law firms in the city of São Paulo. She is recognized by professional colleagues and clients for her expertise in Civil and Tax Litigation, and she is a reference in drafting legal documents and for her arguments at hearings and in court.

She started her career in Civil Litigation in 1996, as an intern dealing with consumer affairs and banking law.

As a lawyer she always concentrated on the area of litigation, and she has experienced every stage of the legal routine, from drafting highly complex procedural documents to presenting decisive arguments in court.

She specialized in tax law at PUC/COGEAE, and in Mergers and Acquisitions at Instituto Internacional de Ciências Sociais – IICS. She also obtained an MBA in Financial Management, Controllership and Auditing at FGV.

She is particularly well-known for her expertise in the tax area, and has played decisive roles in litigation in both administrative and judicial spheres. She also provides advisory services in the form of legal reports and opinions.

Ana Paula is also a teacher of Tax Law and Civil Procedure, having started her teaching career in mid-2007. She has given lessons in several institutions, preparing students for bar exams, public examinations, and undergraduate and graduate degrees. She currently teaches at FMB – Legal Courses.

She joined Costa da Silva & Fernandes Rocha Advogados in 2009, and became a partner in 2018.
